Avoid using very old lipstick (even if you think that it is old) only because the lipstick may cause pigmentation of the lips.
#2
Use little blush for mid-day touch ups. The oil in your skin will grab the blush and intensify it anyways.
#3
If you put powder over your first coat of lipstick and then re-apply the lipstick, it will help the lipstick to last longer.
#4
During mid-day touch ups, use blotting film first before putting on your face powder. If you don't do this (especially if you have oily skin, or say oil in the t-zone) and just apply the powder, you'll look fresh for maybe 10 minutes and then look all shiny again. Using blot film before you apply your powder will get rid of all the excess oils and make you look less shiny longer.

When using liquid foundation, try to warm up the foundation by using your hands. Warmer foundation is more easier to blend.
