Brown Smokey Eye

I used Two Faced Eyeshadow Insurance as my base
Using the 88 Ultra Shimmer palette from Coastal Scents, applied the black all over my lid and blended up slightly into my crease.

Using the 88 Piece Makeup Palette from Coastal Scents, mixed the two browns that are shown in the next two pictures and applied to my crease with my 217 MAC brush, and blended down into the black on my lid.

From the 88 Piece Makeup Palette, took a light brown e/s and applied that above the dark brown color that I applied on the crease, then took my 224 brush and blended it out.

Used a neutral color and a little of shroom for my highlight.

For my lips, I applied Avons Glazewear lip gloss in Classic Nude, and Maybellines Lip Polish in Nude Flash.

Forever 21

So I was walking through the mall the other day with my fiance and I saw that we now have a Forever 21. I automatically turned and went in. I've always heard about people shopping there but never had one around, and I would always look on forever21.com and see all the cute clothes that they have there but never really wanted to order online.
For now all I bought are these really cute flats.

But hopefully later this week I'll go back and actually get some clothes.

Funky Spring Look

I started off using Two Faced Shadow Insurance for my base.
Then took Coastal Scents gel liner in Turquoise and applied all over lid.

Using Coastal Scents 88 shimmer palette and a stiff eyeshadow brush, took a teal green and applied on the lid

Took my MAC 217 brush and applied MAC Creme de Violet e/s to my crease and blended upwards

Apply a vibrant purple to the outer corner and blend up into the crease with the Creme de Violet

Then taking MAC Deep Truth e/s apply to outer corner of lid blending with that purple e/s on the outer crease to intensify that purple and bringing into the middle of lid blending into the teal e/s

Beauty Tips #1

#1
Avoid using very old lipstick (even if you think that it is old) only because the lipstick may cause pigmentation of the lips.

#2
Use little blush for mid-day touch ups. The oil in your skin will grab the blush and intensify it anyways.

#3
If you put powder over your first coat of lipstick and then re-apply the lipstick, it will help the lipstick to last longer.

#4
During mid-day touch ups, use blotting film first before putting on your face powder. If you don't do this (especially if you have oily skin, or say oil in the t-zone) and just apply the powder, you'll look fresh for maybe 10 minutes and then look all shiny again. Using blot film before you apply your powder will get rid of all the excess oils and make you look less shiny longer.

#5
When using liquid foundation, try to warm up the foundation by using your hands. Warmer foundation is more easier to blend.

Poor iPhone

If you have an iPhone, do not let this happen!
Ya so I was at a friends house a couple weeks ago and I was sitting there in a chair talking to one of my friends, and was about to go look at some videos on YouTube, when all of a sudden my phone slipped out of my hand and into the dirt below. I'm guessing it hit a rock just right to crack it like that. The next day I had to go buy another one and that ended up being $499 plus tax.
The one time I do not have a case on my phone, this happens.
Learned from that mistake.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!
I'm a 22 year old who loves anything and everything about makeup. In no way do I think I'm a professional, but I would like to see where it might take me one day. I have a wonderful fiance who's name is Ryan. I love hanging out with my friends, traveling, watching movies/tv, practicing on makeup, etc.
